Wojciech Benicewicz is a composer, visual artist and music producer. The member of music bands White Nerve Connection, Telharmonium, Inire etc. Since 1995, his video works have been shown at many festivals and shows such as The WRO Media Art Biennale, the Festival Visual Forms Intermediale, LEM Festival Barcelona, Wroclaw Industrial Festival, RYTUAŁ RECESJA-RETORSJE-BANG, Hamburg Artgenda Festival, Re: Independent Visions Art Invasion or Videoprzestrzenie BWA. In his solo works he alludes to musical minimalism and serialism, while drawing on the achievements of contemporary electronica and IDM.

The compositions are woven from the sounds of string instruments—processed, fragmented, and glitched—with additional electronic sounds, noise, and sounds not found in nature.
“The State” is an invitation to an inner journey. It is the embodiment of change and a meeting of fragility. Postcards from a journey of becoming. A hug waiting for a return. This video performance interconnects Butoh dance performed by Wojciech Matejko with music by Wojciech Benicewicz and a live video stage setting.
